Hong Kong Suit Tailor Visit: Plan a Short Trip from the UK, Europe or Canada
If you are flying into Hong Kong from London, elsewhere in Europe, Toronto, Vancouver, Singapore or further afield, a custom suit can fit inside a short stay — when you book the appointment before you fly and come in on day one or day two.
Rashmi Custom Tailors is a family tailor on Nathan Road in Tsim Sha Tsui, founded by Larry Rashmi in 1987. Larry still fits every client at the Hong Kong shop himself. Each client gets their own pattern, cut from their measurements and kept on file. About 2,000 fabrics are in the shop. More than 45,000 clients have been measured here. This guide is about visiting the Hong Kong shop. It is not a trunk-show schedule, and it does not replace our full timing article.
Book before you fly
All visits are by appointment only. As soon as your dates are firm, message WhatsApp +852 9745 7058 or email [email protected] with your arrival day, how many full days you have, and whether you want a suit, shirts, or both. We will place your first fitting with Larry early enough for the live turnaround window.
Shop prices for visitors: suits from HK$3,500, shirts from HK$580. (These are Hong Kong shop prices in HKD — not trunk-show pricing.)
How many days do you need?
Use only the timings already published on our visitor and Hong Kong pages:
- Men's suits: 24–48 hours, typically 1–2 fittings
- First fitting: about 45–60 minutes
- Basted fitting: about 20 minutes, same afternoon or the next day
- Then pick-up
- Women's suits: at least 3 days
On a long weekend or a three-night stop, that usually means: land, book day-1 or day-2 for the first fitting, return for the basted fitting, then pick up before you fly — or ask us to ship home (FedEx, UPS or DHL, customs cleared). For the full timing walkthrough, read How long does a custom suit take in Hong Kong? This post does not replace that article.
